Nashville-based International Songwriting Competition (ISC) announced today that Matt Von Roderick (a.k.a. Matt Shulman) won Finalist status in the Jazz category for the track "Coexistence" from his forthcoming album, In The Sky!  (You can hear the track in the Jukebox.)

Matt's submission was chosen from amongst 15,500+ entries, from almost 100 countries.  He is one of 13 finalists in the Jazz category, and now enters the running for Grand Prize.

Judges for the competition include such notable artists as Jerry Lee Lewis, Tom Waits, Rob Thomas, Chaka Kahn and rock band Buckcherry.  Music Industry Professional judges include Monte Lipman (President, Universal Records), Mitchell Cohen (VP of A&R for Verve Music Group), and producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, The Rolling Stones, Peter Gabriel, etc.).
